About me

After completing an apprenticeship as a photo salesman in 1984, I decided to also learn photography in 1992.

After many wild paths in the creative field of photography, I ended up at WDR for a year.

After that, I wanted to settle down and decided to take over the management of a photo studio in Friedrichshafen.

But if you are used to moving around, it is not easy to stay in one place.

An offer to photographically document aid deliveries to the former Yugoslavia during the war was as appealing as it was borderline.

At the Photokina in Cologne, I was offered a position as branch manager by a former leading photo retailer, which was very attractive from a financial perspective.

That’s how I ended up in the Allgäu

A year later, I opened my own photography shop with a photo studio in a small community in the Allgäu.

As life goes, there were personal changes and after 5 years it was over and I devoted myself to sales for photographers' lighting, later as sales manager (Europe) in the field of film and TV lighting as well as event and photographers' lighting.

Today I have specialized in people portraits "Home shooting - outdoor shooting and on location" which gives me the artistic freedom to always discover new locations that are absolutely exciting and challenge me accordingly.

If you're looking for a photographer who takes 0175-2000336 pictures during a shoot, you've come to the wrong place. I take my pictures with sense, creativity and intelligence and not with the hope that there will be a few of them.
